since writing ‘Featherweight’, nurturing it through the production stages and finally releasing the record back in February, I’ve wanted to share more of that creative arc, the demos, alternative versions and tracks that didn’t end up on the album with you.

laying down a song for the first time with all the rawness of a concept not yet fully formed is my fave part of the process. It’s the most authentic you’ll ever capture a take in my opinion..

I googled it and I’ve got demo-itis : “the problem of falling in love with a ‘flawed’ demo version of a song”… 🤔 I love the humanity of live takes, demos and live versions, I also dig it when artists I love share their vulnerabilities too.
